  1. Well in the end they raised £1.2K. Pity not one of thousands plus that turned up to support the event did not kick off about the dementia team , could have got some action shots. Laugh and the world laughs with you , cry , and you cry alone .

  10. I did go to see The Beat & Neville Staples and Paul Heaton @ rescue rooms and only just managed to get just inside the door it was packed out , must admit i only heard Heaton never even seen him ?

Spear Of Destiny ( about 20 times ) Sisters of Mersey Still get down there for the odd band went to see From the Jam just before Christmas. I have some old ticket stubs I'll try and dig them out .

  13. Ha ha On Wollaton street opposite the Tap & Tumbler before the Royal Hotel was built anyone remember a chippy think it had 2 or 3 floors always packed out ? Did i dream it ? surly someone remembers this chippy ? could have be called something like the snackery ? Frank ? Mariag ? Beef ? Anyone ?

  20. And Curly is now working @ The Lincolnshire Poacher gave Mansfield road a rare visit last Saturday night Forest Tavern/FADE/Poacher - There was some cracking entertainment in the backyard of the Poacher some women fighting for over 15 minutes screaming like wild banshees.
