Secured on CD for my Mothers funeral. Other themes: Crown Court Black Beauty. Flambards. Changes. Tomorrow People. Baretta. Colditz. Hill St.Blues. Sam. Shabby Tiger. Moody & Pegg. Rhubarb. Van Der Valk. Camberwick Green and Music Box. Ian Crown Court! Every weekday at lunchtime. Never saw it unless I was ill and at home. Often it was interesting drama. Van der Valk for the opening music. Black Beauty theme made me cry each time. In fact it still does. Do you remember the badly dubbed Robinson Crusoe programme? woody 552
Used to like the theme music to Miss Marple, the film version with Margaret Rutherford was even better.

Do you remember the badly dubbed Robinson Crusoe programme? Yes, it was originally in French I believe. The theme music was excellent however. I watched Black Beauty most Sundays with my kids in the 70s. The music was also very good. Other favourite theme tunes of mine are The Wombles, Bengo, The Woodentops, Mr Pastry and The Railway Children from the 50s. I particularly like the theme music for Whatever Happened to the Likely Lads. Some good childrens TV themes here: http://www.turnipnet.com/whirligig/index.htm

FLY2 10,108
Yes, the Likely Lads ! Thelma was a pain in the backside, but Terry Colliers sister Audrey, played by the delightful and wholesome Sheila Fearn was very watchable !

woody 552
Midnight caller starring Gary Cole as Jack Lillian had a haunting theme tune.
