trogg 2,020
I was in the local supermarket yesterday and in the same isle was hot cross buns, mince pies and those small Easter eggs. Well I thought I know I am forgetful and sometimes I don't know what day it is, but these here don't what Month it is, orĀ is this a conspiracy between the supermarket and my wife to have me committed. 1

Cliff Ton 10,498
I never had the pleasure of going in a place like that. Is there a modern day equivalent ?
philmayfield 6,212
Iāve never had a cocktail or ever been invited to a cocktail party. I must mix with the wrong people! I do have a rather splendid burr walnut cocktail cabinet, about 1920ās Ā vintage though so I am well equipped.

denshaw 2,878
My SIL used to be the steward at the Arnold Liberal club, I'm quite sure it's still like the old Railway club with artists and bingo.
