Bilbraborn 1,594
I am quite surprised that you don't already have to insure ride on mowers on the road. But on your own property? Maybe a local asthma sufferer might sue you, but I doubt it.
NewBasfordlad 3,599
Terence #23 You may be referring to the tragedy of 1st March1927 there were I think 14 miners killed in one accident many who lived at The Bungalows. Should be plenty of info on the web to interest you.

banjo48 928
A while back some bloke was prosecuted in Gt Yarmouth when he drove his mobility scooter into someone and broke their ankle. The thing that annoys me about their drivers is that they think they have right of way of all traffic, road and pedestrian, and I suspect a good proportion of them don't need the things anyway. One of my lads neighbours, when he lived in Cleethorpes, openly admitted to me that he only bought his gopher because he had lost his license for DUI and he could bomb up the shops or pubs without worrying about parking etc. He had also bought the fastest one he could find and used to zoom along the pavements. In reality he was fitter and younger than I was !
Bubblewrap 3,815
See my posts #15 One man said to my wife he had a "scooter" because he was obese. Riding around on a scooter ain't going to help loose weight is it
catfan 14,793
This had to happen sooner rather than later. http://www.nottinghampost.com/Pensioner-died-hit-mobility-scooter/story-26099198-detail/story.html
NewBasfordlad 3,599
Wasn't there an incident a few years back at the junction of Mile End Road and Colwick Loop Road, where a guy drove straight out in front of a wagon.
