A report by Nottingham CC shows that as from 2016 licences granted to or renewed by any licensed premises will require all establishments to stop serving any alcohol after 10:30 pm and after that only provide non alcoholic beverages. This apparently is in a bid to cut down on drunkenness and anti social behaviour and reduce the street cleaning costs.

Won't this interfere with folks being able to have a glass of wine on the way home from the theatre?...Well that's what Blair reckoned extended hours were for.

By the way...what's a theatre?
