DaveN 1,118
Fares on Nottingham buses are set to increase later this month. https://www.nctx.co.uk/2018/03/fare-review-sunday-25th-march-2018/
Waddo 921
They shouldn't have wasted so much money going back in time with the very none profitable tram's!!!!
Deepdene Boy 642
Waddo, the tram is NOTHING to do with NCT. NET is part owned by Trent/Barton. Nottinghamians don't know how lucky they are to have such a comprehensive bus service at fares which are amongst the lowest in the country. NCT fares that is, I appreciate that the fares on Trent/Barton are somewhat more expensive.
NewBasfordlad 3,599
DB I do not think for one moment Waddo is having a go at NCT more like that darned snail
Waddo 921
Spot on NBL, how did you guess?
radfordred 6,284
Noticed there is no change in fare if you use the NCTX Bus App or Robin Hood PAYG? NCT should have invested their money in contactless payment like London instead of this PAYG shite that no one uses.
catfan 14,793
Make public transport free paid by taxation. No need for heavy handed coucil enforcment then. Job done.
philmayfield 6,140
Exclude me. I don’t use public transport. I have no acces to it without a long walk.
philmayfield 6,140
I’d not heard of him. I’ll have to Polish up my knowledge. (And my spelling of access!)
philmayfield 6,140
We had a Polish chap working at our factory. His wife was Greek. Neither of them could speak hardly any English. I had to go to their house once and they communicated in a sort of Polish/Greco/English and managed to get by!

plantfit 7,597
Slav gave me a copy of his book "The Long Walk" about 14 years ago, like an idiot I lent it to someone and never saw it again, he signed it for me with a little footnote about being grateful for what we have, like you say Ian, a very nice bloke, I think a film was made of the book,I know he was having talks with a film company about a film before his death Rog
