Blondie 1,392 Posted September 9, 2015 Report Share Posted September 9, 2015 People mainly old ladies watch the soaps because there is nothing else for them on the telly worth watching............Not everyone wants to watch these X Factor, BGT, I'm a Celeb, Strictly Come Dancing etc. stupid reality shows which are all fixed or the sex and violent films and dramas which seem to be all the norm today.........The telly in general is rubbish now.......Soaps mainly Corrie bring back memories of the good old days............ 2 Quote Link to post Share on other sites

You almost know the characters are not going to be a jolly lot! As for accents, thd odd times when over there and we put the breakfast show on, there is a blonde girl comes on to speak about financial stuff, and you could cut her Lancs accent with a knife.
