not the best end to the day, me shed telly is broke, I was listening to a cd and had to pop indoors for sommat so set the cd to "Pause" forgot all about it til a couple of hours later so the telly was waiting for the cd to play again which it didn't so it gave up in the end, blank screen with no activity equals busted, oh well looking around now for another shed telly. hope you've all had a better end to the day than me Rog

I bought my first fly Rod direct from Hardys. I practiced my casting on the field at home but when I took it to Ladybower for its first proper outing the tip section snapped in half! I’ve got all the fly fishing kit but it’s ’dead man’s shoes’ to get into any of the fly fisheries round here. I prefer Scottish Lochs to disused gravel ponds anyway!

Used to go there a lot in the 70's/80's, all good tackle, they even had their own "casting pond" out back where you could try out a new fly rod before buying, the place will be a loss to field sportsmen and women Rog
