  3. #16 ref the photo,......my ist job in 1960 was Van lad there,through that doorway was where we went to collect our wages,and to the left of it was the parcels depot and to the left of that the parcels yard where the Vans loaded.
  4. I REMEMBER a youth from Bestwood est falling from the bridge in the 50s,he survived his name was Jacky Laing,and i worked in the shop in the picture when it was aMarsdens in the 60s

  14. #62 Dave, i used to work with Mick alot and travelled all over with him can't remember his brother,Mick would be about 74 now and he was a good bloke.
