I've got Caller Display and if I don't recognise the number calling I don't answer it and then I block the number (got the facility to do so on my phone). I'm on the TPS but still get rubbish calls left on my answering machine.

I think if it was Joe Public as the subject of the show many people wouldn't watch. If you're talking about the money that 'celebrities' receive then what about the ridiculous amounts that some footballers get.

If you're a genuine lover of words have a look at the book at the link below. I got a copy today and think it's fascinating. http://www.whsmith.co.uk/products/word-play-a-cornucopia-of-puns-anagrams-and-other-contortions-and-curiosities-of-the-english-language/9781473620308

There used to be a small shop on Mansfield Road in Sherwood that sold stationery and above the window the had the word "Stationary". Currently there a retail outlet selling car tyres at the bottom of Sherwood Rise. On one side of the entrance it mentions Puncture but on the other side it states Punture.

Carni, although I didn't mention it specifically, I was referring to the spell checker in "Word"

There are also people who don't realise they have the spell checker on their computer set to U.S.A
