tomlinson 879
As a matter of interest I've just joined the H. P. Lovecraft Historical Society ( HPLHS) based in the USA and have been a member of the Goon Show Preservation Society (GSPS) for sometime. Is anyone else a member of similar groups? DJBrenton 738
I'm curious. how do you preserve the Goon Show or is it a fan club.
tomlinson 879
It is a fan club aimed at preserving the humour of the Goons. It publishes a small magazine dealing with those who had connections with the shows and their production, and offering deals on CDs etc. The president is the Prince of Wales, whatever that may be worth. Merthyr Imp 729
I'd love to visit Providence, pay my respects to the Old Gent's grave and visit the places where he once walked. Doubt I ever shall.
