Oh dear. From Leigh Curtis on Twitter...

Breaking: No takeover deal will be completed for Notts County today. Staff outraged. Understand they’ve been told it’s ‘highly unlikely’ they will be paid on Friday. Also Colin Dodd/May still looking to do a deal. Story online soon

Football clubs are  businesses. When you cant' pay your dues your'e bankrupt. Sell the assets clear the debts and what's left, if anything is up for grabs.

Bankrupt means bankrupt - get over it......    ;)

I very really now carry any cash with all this tap tap contactless malarkey, I did make sure I had a tenner in the back of my phone for the Notts bucket, a lad was stood on the corner of Trent Bridge I asked him to give it a shake it sounded empty unless it was all notes?

I would take 11th for next season before we kick a ball, realistically 15th if we are lucky.

So Big Al's writing a book about his time at Notts County, hope it does not include any pictures?

Why we got two Notts county threads?

A terrible start to non-league life. I know it's early days but at the wrong end of the table, on the upside it can only get better - we hope.

I do wonder if they will ever get that "Oldest Football League Club" title back

Doubt it RR. They've broken their run, and now must start from scratch if ever they get back !

At least we've still got a club to support, unlike the poor boggers that follow Bury, who may well go to the wall by the end of next week.
