Charlie 11
My mum was born in India (honest) and always said that out there if you cleaned your plate, then it was understood that you were still hungry, so they filled it up again! Pity they don't do that at our local curry house - although I never do quite finish everything! There is just too much anyway!
Frank 13
if you cleaned your plate, then it was understood that you were still hungry, so they filled it up again! Why don't they have that philosophy in the Poacher. Pint finished, fill it up again.......that's wot I say.
jackson 301
Normally I can tell 'Spring's on the way' by the colourful flowers: crocuses, hyacinths, daffodils, narcissus, primroses - sometimes even tulips - happily displaying themselves in the gardens around where I live but sadly they're late this year; consider them clever, they know it's not safe to appear yet. PS: Mother Nature's in charge but keep smiling the sun will arrive one day.

MargieH 7,600
We have some groups of snowdrops fully open in our garden, and even lots of bluebell shoots about 4cm tall - they’re a bit early as they shouldn’t be flowering until May! We haven’t had the really cold weather here (yet)

carni 10,094
'With a heart that's true I'll bring to you, Tulips from Amsterdam'. and I know spring is on the way when my Grape Hyacinths and Tete a Tete mini daffs start breaking through the stones beneath my Bay Window at the front of the house. I just love to see them together.
