I was there in 1961. Worked for the company that wired the place. I think it started as a grammar school with boys and girls segregated.

It was Rushcliffe Technical Grammar School for Boys/Girls. I had only been there a year or so when it became a comprehensive, incorporating Musters Road school. So that would have been around 1969.

At this point, i think, the Midland Cottages annexe became available to the school.

I attended Rushcliffe Girls School from 1966 to1971. Ethel Crabtree was the headmistress. Not so happy memories.

On e of my brothers, Ian, was 4 years older & went to the Boys School.
