Sooo proud of everyone, including my own family who got of the bus early and walked to work....in memory of the innocent who lost their lives, and to show the world we are not beaten, we walk together....

Not sure the same Bradshaws Benjamin......fuzzy did work the clubs but not sure he was a bouncer? ....went out with my mate Sandra who lived near Trev and Paula in Noel st flats .

Did mama Bradshaw work at the penny farthing club Benjamin, and one of the boys was nicknamed fuzzy Bradshaw ?

LE GOURMET restaurant was 45 bridlesmith gate in the 60s

45 bridlesmith was the Hippo club, where I worked in the early 70s........at one time it was a French restaurant called LE GOURMET and can remember going with my parents....excellent food, ahead of its time for Nottingham...

So that's where we need to start ......for all those who abuse the system, the abused child should be paramount in our minds...

The problem of child neglect is not going to disappear overnight.....there are excellent social workers, and teachers, as there are poor ones......foster carers do a brilliant job and some ,like Michael go beyond the call of duty.....I really don't understand why these people have children in the first place....they get free contraception, they don't want them when they are here , and why is adoption so difficult for those who can provide the love, the nurture and the patience to develop these youngsters into grounded adults ?

If you believe the press reports, the little girl had contact with her birth mum, did she not realise how unhappy her daughter was ? It is so easy to blame the school, social services, health providers etc, but tackling the aggression , the behaviour , the repetitive cycle of these people has to be addressed at community level.

I can just about remember the caves and going to Matlock on the back of someone's scooter.....he had TROGGS written on the back of his parka ......
