  4. Remember it well - I bought a new ZX10 form there in 1988 and p/x'd my Honda CBX 1000 - big mistake - they're worth a lot of money now ! - Doh.
  5. Raced a good few time at Mallory in the 70's - a great right -hand circuit on a sidecar outfit !!

  7. Looks like a "National" petrol station in the background ? - always liked their colours and logo/sign.

First vehicles to have "Spring brake actuators" - I remember having to overhaul them . - first time we saw them on the bench we said - blimey (or words to that effect) - how does that tiny circlip hold the two halves of the chamber together when it took 1 ton of pressure to relieve the tension on it !!
  9. I used to cover Central Market "Depot" as the night fitter throughout the 70's - still stunk of fish though !!
  10. As far as I remember, I'm pretty sure 9,54,65 routes were Gordon Road / Thorneywood, Prospect Road, weren't they ?

  16. That's a rare view of Sherwood depot - not a single car in sight on Mansfield road !!
  17. Name doesn't ring a bell I'm afraid - I left in 1980. One driver I do remember was John Wainwright - I think he was something to do with the union ?
  18. I was the night fitter at Trent Bridge depot throughout the 70's - I wonder who your dad is ? - I may well remember him .
