  1. That would have been Anglo American. who operated from the petrol station a bit further down. Two wheel centre were official Honda dealers at one time.

  3. used to be a record shop in Gedling on main road called "Simons" next to the Brooklyn Club ---are either of these still there ?

  11. my old video 8 camcorder is analogue with 1 audio and 1 video outs (phono's) --- does that help ?

  13. Rick Street Garage -- I think it was called "Autoplus" - used to spend a lot of time in there in the early 70's with an old £100 Jag Mk 2. -- Wish I still had it !!
  14. They could have been mates ,not sure, --- we moved from Carlton to Colwick in the early 70's so who knows -- my dad was Fred Peatman. I remember Charlie Denoon --- once bought a big old Cadillac Convertible off him when we were all going through the Yank Tank phase. still got the bike though -- we get a bit more sun here !!

I remember Bill Kelly -- he had a unit behind me on the Blenheim Estate in the early eighties.We used to "maintain" his trucks for him and they certainly needed a lot of maintenance.He was a very likeable roguish character but I recall the council were never happy with him on the estate.Wonder what happened to him?

  20. Mate of mine bought a racing Itom in the mid/late sixties -- seem to remember he bought it from Andy Bone's ----Orange and black springs to mind. Coincidentally, I bought my H/D FXR from Andy Bones -- 1991 - still got it !
