  1. Could be the light Brew, it was at the side of a window plus the kitchen light was on plus I used a flash on the camera, BK, I'll start on the wooden figures as soon as I get a bit more wood, looking forward to using the new (to me) powered scroll saw to cut out the shapes Rog
  2. Managed to find a Leyland Atlantean I could re-brand as NCT, so here is the result from this To this Waiting for the destination board transfers to arrive now Rog
  3. Went to Worksop this morning for the market and a walk about, big disappointment, about eight market stalls there mainly clothes with one fruit stall and one plant stall and a couple of dvd/cd's sellers, the "shopping centre" is almost devoid of shops now with most of them closed down, the car parks were practically empty, even the pound shop had closed, just got to feel sorry for the good people of Worksop they have been badly let down by their council, when we first went there the market ran full length of the main street in two or three rows now just about empty, the Queens pub the main one

  10. A lovely visit to Barnsley market today, weather was nice and warm with very little breeze, loads of friendly people about and some great market stalls and shops to explore, the food hall catered for just about every taste from good old home made pies right through to far eastern menus at a fantastic price, I sat down waiting for Mrs P to bring the drinks and food and I said to this guy on the next table "nice and warm today me duck" he immediately replied "you not from Barnsley are you with an accent like that" No was the reply he then said "you from Nottingham aren't you" wow is my accent st
  11. I asked the same question about RR (Nick) but never got a reply, miss his dry sense of humour Lizzie Rog
  12. Bought a four slice toaster from "The Range" last month, stainless steel with loads of settings, blew the fuses in the house yesterday so threw it in the bin, load of rubbish like a lot of stuff in that store Rog
  13. All the cats who have owned me have been litter tray trained and like you say Jill have even come back indoors to use the tray, these cats that are causing the problems around here don't even bother to bury their poo, just leave it on the grass or garden, you could say it's easier to see than if it was buried but I don't want them crapping in my garden at all hence the 5.52 mm piece of lead, not something I want to do but going through the daily ritual of cleaning up after these things is getting me down Rog
  14. Jill the owners of these FIVE poo machines are pig ignorant, the poo machines climb out of their upstairs windows onto a shed roof and down to the ground and return the same way, people in the close have spent a lot of money trying different deterrents, I have already listed mine but one neighbour has fitted an electric wire around his fence (same as the farmers use to keep sheep in the fields) another has spent over two hundred pounds having spikes put along her fence tops full length and other neighbours have tried these powerful water guns,my next door neighbour has strung fishing line acro

  16. Unfortunately I have given up on growing anything in my garden this year because of the amount of cat poo I'm having to clear up every morning, such a shame really because it's great to grow veg and salads, I have tried everything I can think of to stop these pests coming in my garden from electronic sensors, spikes just under the soil, spikes along the fence, old coffee grinds sprinkled around, garden center "guaranteed to work" cat repellent and still they crap in my garden, not only the growing beds but also on the grass, it is no fun having to walk around my garden every morning cleaning u
  17. I see a lot of these running lights turn off when the indicator light comes on, only the side that the indicator light shows so that could ease the problem, have the germans cured the indicator light problem on their cars now? you know where the indicators only come on two feet from the junction they are going to turn into instead of the recommended fifty meters, just asking Rog
