Ive mentioned afore ive got ''Essential Tremor''.........and as luck would have it its in my left hand.....and i find it impossible to write..........used my right hand for a time but it was hard work and looked like a childs writing..........so now i ve given up writing altogether.......... Had an embarrassing incident with a receptionist at Kings Mill hospital recently..........my voice wasnt working and he said....''its ok just write down what youre trying to say''....told him by sign language.... '''CAN'T WRITE''.......... There are so many little things we take for granted

I am a 'Southpaw' Jill..............and whilst the teachers were all ok with it when it came to Woodwork and Metalwork all the benches are made for right handers..........hence i'm crap at anything to do with being handy just hate it.......cant mend owt or mek owt........did you know left handers even cross their arms opposite way to lefties?

Not sure if i ever nearly saw the Queen........one Sunday morning in the mid 50s we were playing football on Bulwell Common.......and we noticed a crowd slowly gathering on the roadside........we asked one of them whats ''Going off''?............they said the Queens coming !.......just thought it was their way of telling us to 'Bog off'............ Eventually a few big black Posh cars went past and the small crowd of people started waving.....they said again it was the Queen'' Got home told 'Mam' ''seen the Queen Mam i think! ''Don't be Daft..get ya dinner'' she replied........

Another memorable date today,,,,,10/9/71........another one of my boys born on this day....he's the one in Australia just wished him happy 52nd birthday and another son is there with him landed last night............. I was working for ABGibsons out of their office in Moxley..West Midlands...and on returning to the office at about 5pm found a note on my desk...saying... wife in Ward 1 and has had 3 boys...nearly feinted.....obviously wrong way round.... Oh yes 10/9/03...I...had heart attack on the Staffordshire moors...........That was quite memorable too...

I remember watching her Coronation 70 years ago........when with about 20 family members we crowded into my Aunt Connies front room on Leybourne drive...........she was the only one with a Television................RIP your Majesty....

The spaces always get filled...........and people do want to go to Bulwell..........ALWAYS BUSY........ Why wouldnt they......Market 4 days per week...free parking...nice places to eat or just sit and watch the world go by......some folk dont appreciate friendly banter........if thats the case STAY AWAY........

Some things do get better then............ Main street no traffic...and Bulwell must be the best place in Nottingham for Parking........100s of spaces all free.........

I agree its changed Jill........ Commercial road has died... Main street has shrunk... and some (a few) new builds have appeared......but some things (most) are the same.... Main streets buildings are mostly the same....as are the buildings around the Market....obviously the river is still running thru the Bogs....and the Church on the hill still overlooks it all...........but the main thing about Bulwell is its people......and their ''One off'' sense of humour....... On a personal note i still see people from my school days and relatives....even the ones that have lef

Donna has always had a thing for him really swooned after him in Skeggy.............also went to see Curtis Stygers'' in Skeg...........she qued (sp) for his autograph....mind you it was funny...he actually offered to date her on line....
