My first ones would be:- A device that stopped any noise from car doors when they were being closed. A device which automatically closed car windows when music was being played loudly inside.

We all regularly come across abbreviations, but do they always stand for what we are told? For instance PPI, does it really mean Payment Protection Insurance? I think it stands for Personal Phone Invasion. Do you know any abbreviations that are not what they seem?
