In a book about Nottingham that I have it states that the City Council issue guidelines for new streets and buildings including Names of living persons are not normally permitted Names should not sound like existing ones within the Nottm city area They should not be difficult to pronounce or spell If possible names should reflect the past history of the area Names that could be considered advertising will not be accepted Names that could be considered offensive will not be accepted

  17. I’ve changed internet providers this week and am in the process of setting up a new email account. A computer specialist has suggested the best thing is to have an email account with someone other than my provider. I wondered how many of you have your email through another company other than your provider and if so why? Thanks for your thoughts.

  22. I recall that from the area at the side/back of Skills on Alfreton Road the Lincolnshire Road Car coaches use to leave form there to go to Mablethorpe.
