If I could give them a few quid $ and have say ten channels of my choice not the endless channels of dross you get with the normal package then I would pay for it. I guess I'll just have to stream it.

Totally, utterly and completely pi$$ed off. Just found out that the FA Cup final is not on free to air television in Australia. It is on pay TV, ESPN Instead we get UEFA Women's Champions League? WTF is happening with our international sporting events more and more are being put behind the pay wall.

Ian it looks more like the building of West Notts Tech at the junction of Nottingham Road (top right hand corner) and Derby Road past the front of the site. When finished it replaced the old technical college on Chesterfield Road. Many lunch time pints and pasties at the Rushley just down the road.

The Granada was my favourite cinema in Mansfield. The people in the film must have been rich as not many people had a car in the 50's. The market place is largely unchanged except that the market is a shadow of its former self. The shot down Church Street through the viaduct and looking back the other way are the most photographed views in Mansfield. The bus in the shot is most likely a MDT or perhaps a MGO service from the terminus near the Midland Station going to or through local mining villages such as Rainworth, Blidworth, Bilsthorpe or further to Newark or Nottingham

Great to see the old Kop and Bishop Street stand. Todays' multi-million pound snowflakes couldn't/wouldn't play on a pitch like that! The game is being filmed from the west stand that was purchased from Hurst Park racecourse on its closure.

Talking about Division 4 or League 2 as it is now, County relegated and now The Stags have failed to gain promotion having fallen at the first hurdle in the play-offs. A disaster prone end to the season after looking certainties for an automatic promotion for most of the season. All in all, not the best season for all Notts league teams.
