Virgin were never there, they were always where they are now, not opening a retail store in Nottingham until the 80's i actually did an outside broadcast from the shop when it first opened, fronted by my then colleague Erica Hughes, and his highness Richard Branson was in attendance As for a record shop in that area, i actually managed what was my former workplace Dixons, as a shop that sold off all the old records,cassettes, and 8 tracks that the other Dixons couldnt move, could that have been it? I think more people make the effort to walk though the new flatter square now , where they may not have done before ? Those boxes where stacked up beside the left lion when i passed , would have been ideal for your bonfire Den ?

Just had a cracking Sunday dinner @ The Pullman Inn Widmerpool washed down with a pint of Green King IPA ..superb . Noticed they where selling your HP & £2-20 plus Elsie Mo in the Kean's Head St. Marys Gate last night Den . I had a pint of the Belgian rocket fuel Leffe 9%. Finished me off .

Superb flat and user friendly, regards “outdoor café life” the 2 pubs you mention both are not licensed for outdoor consumption, I am more than sure Nottingham Licensing would ever permit this idea. Here's one fully clothed juvenile delinquent !!

Balti why what was on ? Not been in the Balti for over a year since Mrs Red was nearly killed by the incompetent QMC medical surgeons ( intensive care / high dependency unit etc ) she has to watch what she eats so a curry blast is no longer on our menu , sad to say . I do refrain from going anywhere when I'm out with the lads & had a few , that i could be recognized or identified !!! So next time your in give Sam & Bash my kind regards .
