Yesterday I was told of the passing of nottstalgia member Ashley. I have no further details, maybe piggy and Babs can find out.

I do know that Ashley Durose  worked as a foreman for Nottingham City Council on council house repairs and maintenance, and as a result had chronic lung disease.

How very sad, sorry to hear the news old ace. Ashley posted a lot on here when I first joined the forum and I have often wondered how he was doing since he’d not been on for a very long time.  RIP Ashley

Sad news. Always sad to hear of the passing of an NS member. Hope he finds his way to Chulla's Nottstalgia Bar in the Ethernet. That'll soon have more members than this set up!

So sorry to hear of Ashley's passing. Very sad.

I met him a couple of times, I think, the last time was at Bab's do at The White Hart.

Ashley lived at RoT, and used The Manvers.

Now reunited with his wife Asabelle

Rip Ashley

Piggy and Babs are aware, no details of funeral arrangements yet.
