Serendipity, has a strong influence over my life, so lets go with the flow and it seems that Mountford House is to be the starting point and this Oo ar yer thread a place as good as any other to home my thoughts. Not sure if this will show up but, the one on the left is a 36 teeth round chainring and the one on the right is a 36 teeth oval chainring, the reason being for the technical among you (Ben included) is when the crank arms are in the TDC and BDC position there is a loss of effective energy from the rider, this is called the "useless area" because there is no human input at the two extremes, the set up for the oval chainring is to help useful power input to be used more efficiently, apparently for powerful riders this could be as much as two percent of useful energy, sound very involved but as

As a former teacher myself, it's very revealing what comes out of the mouths of young children; often phraseology straight from 'discussions' between their parents at home. This sheds more light on a child's family background and relationships than the parents could ever realise. Although you can't allow it to go unchecked because children are great copiers, it can be dealt with sensitively and privately.   6. Went to Bulwell this morning....just for sumat different lol........ Glad i did.....served by my favourite waitress in Kirkby for breakfast........then my other favourite for Espresso in Bulwell...who it seems i knew her Grandma back in the 60s?..... The Moulin Rouge was indeed one of the most popular french style Restuarnts in Nottingham during the 1970`s and changed hands From Mr Andrew Petsas who used to be involved in the little jhon restaurant he bought it dirt cheap from a Mr chirstagi who set up the Moulin Rouge and 2 other french style restaurants,he sold the buisness and lease to the next owner around 1980 until 1984 when he had no choice but turn it into a fish and chip shop as trade was down the main custom was from Judges baristers and when they moved the court buildings and chambers to other side of town as they spent big, s

I can remember going on a date with a guy in my class at school, he helped me with myTechnical Drawing, which I could not do, so I had to agree to have a date with him and he took me to the Moulin Rouge Cinema which was on Milton Street back then, it was one Saturday afternoon - a film called 'Never on a Sunday' was showing .......'X' rated in1960 - we thought we were the daring young things seeing a film like that at aged 15 years, it was in French with Subtitles........ the place was a right flea pit, we sat on the back row, he even bought me Poppets........I can remember going to a cafe on

  10. The Moulin Rouge restaurant was a bit more upscale than a chip shop. !hungr! I am talking 46 years ago. Can't figure out where those years went. Seems like yesterday.
