The media is full of the Russian and French fans attacking the English fans and there are many videos showing this. Even the Russian media has stated that the Russians attacked the English fans. That must be a first. As for the game I thought England played really well and were unlucky to only get a 1-1 draw, Russia scoring in the last minute of injury time.

There is video evidence that the English fans were attacked by the Russian supporters and on another occasion the trouble started when a woman threw a bottle at the English supporters. This was also on the TV news programmes as the woman was arrested by the French police. As usual people jump to the conclusion that it's the English supporters starting all the trouble. Anyway, I'd sooner read about the football than the idiots, irrespective of their nationality.

Derby Airport at Burnaston
Michael Booth replied to Tim in the North East's topic in Pete's Nottingham Transport Forum
It's amazing what you were allowed to do in those days. I can remember my first trip to Hong Kong when I was allowed to show my two little daughters the flight deck. Isn't it a shame that there's so much you cannot do anymore because of the psychopaths around the World. -
I wish England well in their first game against Russia tonight. I also hope that their young team have a good tournament and makes England proud.

I thought it was brilliant, that's why I put it on.

That's how it was when I lived on Grainger Street, off Meadow Lane. You normally had the same binmen, milkman and postman and they all got a tip at Christmas. Nowadays, you don't see a milkman and the postman changes all the time. As for the dustbinmen, I had a small rug that I'd forgotten to put in the bin. I went to a binman and asked if I could throw it into the back of the lorry. He said I had to ask his boss. His boss said that I couldn't but when he turned his back I threw it in. Needless to say, no Christmas box for them. You often read about binmen refusing to take bins if the lids a

Yes, so do I, carni. For some reason I haven't kept up with their progress. When I'm busy during the day and come onto Nottstalgia during the night there's so much to catch up on. -

It's called 'Designer Stubble' and it's in fashion at the moment. I don't mind how anyone looks or dresses because they are being themselves. Throughout my life I've gone through lots of changes, from being a Teddy Boy to a dinner suit and bow tie with lots of other things in-between. I tend to think that Designer Stubble looks better on dark haired men.
