  3. #485 Ian I THINK the lady that did the food was a Mrs Richards and her mate Dolly,they were also cleaners there,she lived on Bestwood road.........I knew Ken Breward pretty much all my life........before he was the Steward he was a Guard on the Railway with my Dad and were good mates.   10. We played it Paul's way on Bestwood estate,.........used to collect Matchboxes as well,by going into Town (nottingham not Bulwell) on a Sunday morning,also collected Fag pkts,............i suppose really we were early litter collector volunteers.

  14. Bulwell is still known as Bulwell Town and sometimes Basford is called Basford Town,..........got me wondering if any other district within Nottm.City boundaries is still refered to in that way..........i can't think of any ?

  16. #58 orphan annie I too have weird dreams most nights,about places I used to live and people I used to know,even though not thought about them for years,.......often wake up and can't for the life of me know which house i'm in,......only lasts a few seconds, very Weird,........luckily not called the wife by another name yet,............that 'Duck' word comes in really handy.....lol.
