Don't know what the ratio is,but Nottingham always had a reputation for beautiful ladies...........working in the North when in my teens i 1st realised this when playing Darts with some locals the score 44 was called two Nottingham ladies.

Ive been lucky,moved about alot,due to job and Divorces,and have always had neighbours ive got along with,.......sensible folk make allowances for other peoples lifestyle,...........and always found a sense of humour helped,.......its nice where i live now,but would have no 2nd thoughts about moving again if summat took my fancy........like to think even at 70,the Fat Lady is not singing yet........lol.

Mid 80s my then young teenage lads hated it if we took them in Fords,Bulwell,........street cred and all that.........lol.

Mam and Dad 56 years in their Bestwood estate home,.......always had good caring neighbours......don't think many places have that friendlyness nowadays.

They look ok Melissa,.......and its not bad round there,..........like your new photo with your Sister.............

When travelling i love to stop at one of those American Diners' for breakfeast 'bacon with Pancakes and Maple Syrup',.....theres a couple on the A1.,Coffee not up to much though............no Nesspresso.........lol.

When i lived in Cambs in the 70s,travelling home the first sight of Nottingham i got was from top of that big hill nr Melton mowbary,it always lifted my spirits,then near to Cfifton bridge i could smell Nottingham,smokey still alot of coal fires...........then back in Bestwood and Bulwell the ay-ups started bloody lovely.

Always remember a Great Aunts Parlour on Henrietta street,..........Aspidistra (well big plant) Piano,lots of Brasses,Picture of the King hanging from Picture Rail and a 'Companion set'............even her name fitted a Parlour.............Nelly Musgrave'

There are places with less crime,better City Centre's,nicer Parks,more interesting History,finer Buildings,better football teams,nicer Accents, more pleasing on the Eye,more varied shops,better Restuarants,.............but none with nicer People and its where i'm from,its Nottingham and I love it.............

Never liked doing Jigsaws,although i would imagine its quite relaxing,i struggle at relaxing, wish i did'nt, as ive said before i hate DIY,won't do it or can't,ive no inclination whatsoever to even try.
