That Mansfield District Traction Bristol Lodekka is a smart looking bus. The MGO bus with the Vernons advert on the side was an AEC lowbridge series that had four seats on the nearside and a sunken aisle on the drivers side of the upper deck. Buses like that one often serviced the B8 route due to the low bridges around Bestwood/Hucknall before MGO bought Bristol Lodekkas.

Brilliant, having not been to Nottingham for many years I have to admit that I had to find Slab Square before I could orient myself as the skyline and buildings have changed so much.

Thanks oldphil, before I try this I will go and check with my cartridge supplier to see if he will take the non genuine ones back if they don't work otherwise I will be further out of pocket. Interestingly the shop I get them from is consistently cheaper than anywhere else I can get them even on line.

I've used an Epson NX printer without any issues for well over 6 years. When I first replaced the cartridges I used a generic brand with no problems, 40% cheaper than the originals. Recently for some reason it does not recognise the non genuine cartridges, I suspect a software upgrade.

Yes Ben, All the mining villages had their illegal bookies and runners and when it became legalised and licensed many of them became the legal bookie before the big end of town moved in. Even as a kid I knew where the bookies was in my village and often wondered why the police never bothered them and turned a blind eye to their activities. We are regular attendees at the sport of kings and only bet when we are at the races. We like to add a bit of interest by having a $1 bet on a trifecta in each race. Surely it must be cheaper to have the whole fleet in one colour! Mansfield District Traction also had Green and Cream livery, to my eyes it was more of an "apple" green than the darker (dirtier) shade of green that NCT used. The best looking buses were the blue and cream of Midland General.

Thanks Stuart.C I found that most interesting including the fact that it started with the newest history whereas most historical time lines start with the oldest. Surprising that the first O.M.O. bus operated in 1951 although in quite a different way to which we are now used to. Post 1975 is all new to me having left the UK then. Correct me if I am wrong but surely having dedicated colour buses on specific routes leads to having to have more spare buses of the same colour to cover for breakdowns and servicing than having a common livery with destination and route boards.

A Bridgeport turret milling machine with all the attachments, including a rotary and an angle table, a Colchester Student Lathe with face plates and steadies. You can get them at most shops that sell cutlery here in OZ but unless you can find a shop that stocks Viners cutlery in the UK it looks like you will have to buy on-line, Viners have a website that you can look at and I can see that there are quite a few available on EBay. Who are the names and numbers for, the cameras and commentators, the crowd or their team mates because they cant remember their names.
