  1. I'll go with Freda avenue, had a mate lived in a flat there, it was a nightmare in winter.

  12. You have to give them credit for perseverance if nothing else, brother in law has a RX8 and it gos like stink. But it use's a bit of oil and it's not done a great milage. Still very impressive performance from technically a 1300 cc engine!!.

  14. Another benefit of the rotary engine was the fact it had very few moving parts, and the displacement was tiny but was categorized as a higher cc than it actually was. The engine is small and revs freely and very smoothly. If only they could sort those rotor tips!!

  16. With the little use that the damm things are getting, when it's time to sell, the return should be quite good, maybe as much as £10.00 per carriage!!

  20. Cor, that brings back some memories. Many a Saturday spent hunting for parts at 'Podders'. And if they didn't have it, over to Albert Looms for another rummage round. Don't know why I went to 2 totally different directions!.
  21. There's a pile of horseshoes like that if you go through aslockton, I think it was the done thing at the blacksmith, I've seen another somewhere but can't think where at the moment. Edit, just looked at the map der! Might be the same pile after seeing the location. But have seen it done elsewhere.
