  1. Birthday greetings from me too! Have a great day.xx
  2. What about when someone says, " I'm not eating that mush"! Where does that fit in Professor Margie?
  3. I've been on Levothyroxine for quite a while now. My GP said, when diagnosed, that I was borderline under active.
  4. Who's Beeky? ( I just thought Mary Mushypeas was a good name). Didn't have anyone in mind, says he, lying through his teeth.
  5. That's a good name Margie, Mary Mushypeas. Is she local?
  6. Wish I could say the same Col. It's bloody freezing down here! Or maybe, is it just me?
  7. R.I.P. to your old mate Ben. B.
  8. I suspect that there is some mileage in this......
  9. Apologies for the delay Col. I'm doing alright now, thanks. Doing a little more each day, even had a drive down to our local pharmacy, but that left me a wee bit shaky. It's the furthest I've been up to now. Still get a bit tired towards the end of the day, but at least improving. The hospital suspect I may have had a warning attack back in April and like a pillock, I ignored the signs. Looking out at the rain and thinking, "Life couldn't be sweeter". And, it's my 55th anniversary next Friday.!
  10. Ayeup, I'm sorry mate but all those numbers, sizes, names etc., don't mean a thing to me. I know which end a projectile comes out of and that's all I want to know. Used to be good with a catapult though when I were a ranger at Holme Pierrepont.
  11. I've just had a look on Google at AR15 rifle images. Why the bloody hell would anybody want to tote one those cannons? Ayeup, you sound like a one man army with all your different guns. Glad you're on my side! Not gonna make any comment on events stateside as I don't know the facts. Only see what the media want me to see. Take care pal. B.
  12. Don't say never Gem, we, none of us know what the future holds. Once this dreadful pandemic is hopefully sorted, things can only improve. You could meet Ben on one of your wheelchair safaris. Who knows, I might even come up and paint one of your stools/chairs. I certainly would like to meet Ben, might even consider buying him a coffee in Weatherspoons. Always assuming I could get a bank loan. Hope you're reading this Ben. B.
  13. As per normal Ayeup, we only ever get half the story. Usually the bits they want you to see. B.
  14. My thoughts are with you Ben. Gotta admit, two weeks ago I were terrified but things are improving. As previously stated, there are people on here, who have more serious ailments which pale mine into insignificance. Very best wishes mate and my sincere respects. B.
  15. Trust all the answers satisfy radford dreads question.
  16. Late again Sue. Have just checked and yes, patient is breathing and doing as well as expected. Drove for the first time today. Thank you for asking.x
  17. The front row look like a rogues gallery...or police line up. (Berridge hit squad ?).
  18. Gem, have you ever considered a small trailer with a ramp? That way a heavy wheelchair could be pushed up the ramp and secured. Even an electric wheelchair could be rolled up without any pushing. Just a thought, and cheaper than a new car.
  19. With the exception of my recent expedition to Brighton hospital, I have now been isolating for 164 days. Like a lot of us, I'm guilty of the ultimate crime. I got old !
  20. Why doesn't he rejoin under a different Avatar Rob,? like a new member. Or is that not possible.
  21. Ever considered opening your own 'Watch Lab', then you could fix other people's watches.
