The central music venue and bar closed 21st February 2011 ! "The Central Music Venue today released a statement announcing it was surrendering it’s deal with Enterprise Inn’s and closing it’s doors. The venue which opened in 2009 following the closure of the Running Horse has been hit by problems of late and now becomes the latest venue to fall amidst tough times for the pub industry."

For the English readers this years St George's Day parade will commence from The Forest Rec at 12 pm and head down Mansfield Rd into Milton Street, Turn Right at Burger King then Left onto King Street, into the Market Sq and fall out on Long Row (Debenhams). We will be assembling at the Forest Rec at 11am onwards.... The parade has been funded and organised in conjunction with Nottingham City Council.
