'Ow do from the north of the county

Recommended Posts

I've just joined the forum, and look forward to participating in the general chit-chat.

I'm a baby-boomer now enjoying retirement and playing with my collection of old cars - well, it keeps me off the streets! Also interested in local history, old buildings... in fact general nostalgia; things were better in the old days, weren't they :P

I don't know about better, Mike, but they were simpler, and welcome from another retired baby boomer.

Welcome to the Forum MikeC, you've come to the right place for nostalgia about good OLD Nottingham and just about anything else. There are lots of knowledgeable folk on here and a lot of us are from the Boomer generation even though we don't acknowledge the age that goes with it!

What old cars do you have mikec, welcome and what part of the county

I've got a 1914 Saxon, a 1931 Austin and a 1953 Lancia:

I've now lived in Market Warsop for the last twelve years; before that twenty years in Southwell.
