Brew 5,419
They're quite good Col, it obviously helps that you have an 'eye' for composition, first and last are excellent.
DJ360 6,730
Thanks Jim. I know the middle two aren't photographically meritorious.. but they give an impression of what I saw. One day I'll figure out how to get decent focus on distant skylines..

Beekay 5,150
My lad once bought a baseball cap with a peak on either side. It had a caption saying, " I'm their leader, which way did they go?"
philmayfield 6,139
I have two. A natty tweed one which I wear when engaging in rural pursuits and a Musto seafaring one for when I’m on the high seas - which isn’t very often these days.

DJ360 6,730
I have a 'Guinness' Baseball Cap. I also have a rusty red one..and a denim one. I rarely wear any of them. They're only of any use to keep sun off the top of your head and shade your eyes a bit.. for which or course you need Sun. Not a major problem in the UK these days. A wooly hat is far more use. I do however have another one which is rather nice.. It has a fold out section which extends its coverage over the ears a bit. It's made of rather nice woollen fabric.and has a peak made allegedly of reindeer hide. It was given to Mrs Col by student from Finnish Forestry Company or somewhere when she was teaching English to foreign business types.

nonnaB 4,895
This morning we went into Asti to the big market they have twice a week. Its ages and ages since I went. We went for veg to preserve for winter. I was surprised at the prices of everything. They were so cheap and the atmosphere was lovely stall holders shouting their wares and if we looked at something more than a couple of seconds we were offered bag to put our goods in. The weather was very sunny and warm which made me remember years ago visiting my inlaws for holidays. I felt as though I was on holiday, it was a much needed change of scene. Already started on veg preservation, a mix of aubergines, red and green peppers and red onions in a sweet and sour sauce. Another busy day tomorrow with the rest of the veg. Well it keeps me out of mischief.

MargieH 7,600
As soon as everyone has bought lots of pairs of skinny jeans, then the designers will decide to change the fashion to a different style, so they can sell some new ones which will be ‘the latest fashion’ (and the sheep will all obey and buy them.....)
Brew 5,419
So I'm still in with a chance of being fashionable... as soon as they introduce baggy arse trousers I shall be in like Flynn!
