They make a sheds for other companies under different names. Just looked on their site. 8’x6’ seem to be from £360 upwards
plantfit 7,665
I'm going to have to buy one the old one is looking very tired (understatement) it's the one I keep the vintage cycles in as well as the pressure washer and strimmers, the original base timbers are in good nick so a new 8x6 would drop straight onto them, anyroad I decided to spray the fence today instead of in the morning, apparently we have a new cooker being delivered tomorrow between 08.30 and 12.30, knowing my luck it will be 12.30 and I would have wasted a morning waiting for them, at least I got the fence done and tomorrow I can get on with a bit of work in the house as well as a bit of reading my book, Oh well onwards and upwards as they say Rog
philmayfield 6,232
I see that Walkers of Trowell have closed down due to retirement. That will be a loss to the shooting and fishing community. I used to visit regularly. I bought my Theoben Rapid 7 .22 air rifle from there but I’ve not been for some years.
plantfit 7,665
Used to go there a lot in the 70's/80's, all good tackle, they even had their own "casting pond" out back where you could try out a new fly rod before buying, the place will be a loss to field sportsmen and women Rog
philmayfield 6,232
I bought my first fly Rod direct from Hardys. I practiced my casting on the field at home but when I took it to Ladybower for its first proper outing the tip section snapped in half! I’ve got all the fly fishing kit but it’s ’dead man’s shoes’ to get into any of the fly fisheries round here. I prefer Scottish Lochs to disused gravel ponds anyway! So, as a diversion I'm going to try and repot my little tomato seedlings that seem to be doing well after nearly two years wrapped in kitchen paper. Don't have clue what I'm doing, but they're now touching the top of the cover so have to take action ! Wish me luck comrades !! I'm going in....... Barrie, send me a pic of your toms and I’ll let you know what to do next. Mrs Buttercup.

plantfit 7,665
New cooker arrived this morning so had to connect that up, all good and working, got one of the strimmers out of a shed and fuelled it up and cut the grass just the other side of my back fence in the field so that looks a lot neater now, strimmer cleaned down and greased ready for next time, cleaned one of my bike then had a message on facebook asking about another of my bikes I'm selling, the guy seems interested so will see what tomorrow brings, still looking for another shed telly, got a couple in mind that might be worth looking at so thats another job for tomorrow, anyway tonight is chip van night so just getting ready to pop down to the next village for fish and chips mmmmm, hope you've all had a great day and achieved all your objectives Rog

PeverilPeril 3,298
I did the usual indoor bike ride and row this morning - keeps me fit but I would love to get out on the road again. Since loosing the sight in my left eye and being deaf it just feels too dangerous. Thinking of taking the bike up to Carsington to ride a circuit on the cycle path. Started to clear the old shed out today - 'found' all sorts of stuff! Don't make cider anymore so lots of plastic barrels, containers and crates to dispose of. Found all the parts for the rowing trike that I built (see avatar)...hmmm, maybe I should get that back on the road? Found lots of dead stuff to dispose of. Dead chainsaw, mower, wheeled strimmer, submersible pump and barrel pump, 2 electric outboards and a pile of old bike bits. Pity that Rog dosn't live a bit closer!
MRS B 549
12 hours ago, Beekay said: Cheers Pal. Barrie, looks like they have been enjoying your house environment and “bolted” a bit. I only keep the covers on till the seeds have germinated. Would suggest putting each seedling carefully in a 5 inch pot with new compost and putting somewhere cooler if you can. Hope this helps.
Beekay 5,230
Already done that Mrs.Buttercup x. Iv'e put them outside though, in a sheltered space that will get some sunlight, till they're ready to repot. Hopefully I might get one to grow. Not really too worried though, it were just something I wanted to try and see if they would germinate. Don't have a clue what variety they came from. Will keep you posted. Many thanks for the advice.xx
