  2. Lmfao, that can't seriously be a road name? Surely someone's just placed that there haha! Feel sorry for anyone living on that road if it is real though!
  3. Thanks for the link Siddha. Thanks a lot Michael. I agree. Brilliant post by Carni. All of the responses have been really helpful!
  4. Thanks for all the responses guys! Given me some things to think about And not as extensive as a mental disorder or long term depression Bilbro-lad, more an episode of sadness and introspection
  5. Hello lovely Nottm/ex-Nottm folks! Just a quick question for all. I'm currently working on one of my final assignments for my university degree, and with the question being 'Is Nostalgia Essentially Melancholic?' I thought of you fine people and thought I'd ask all of your opinions to help me out a little! So... thought's anyone? Does reminiscing about the happy past make us a little sad deep down?
  6. I think I would as well Melton!
  7. I live just around the corner from the Plough! Never been in though. May have to give it a whirl!

  9. Hope you get somewhere a little more appropriate for you Babs!!
  10. Keeping with the spring flowers theme, here's some photos I've taken that I thought you might enjoy. Anyone guess where they're taken?
  11. Good luck with the move Bilbraborn
  12. Haha. Great nickname Carni. I have a few which my family call me for some unexplained reasons.. My Dad for some reason calls me 'Beau' Mum started calling me 'Melissa Tisha' when I was around 6. It's now shortened to 'Tish' haha. Strange how these names come about!
  13. I heard that my University (Nottingham Trent) owned it for a time actually! Would have been a fine chance to get a look around. Here's a picture I took of it 4 years ago on said wedding from the graveyard around the side of the church. Looks occupied as I can see a car parked in front?
  14. Clifton Hall is a beautiful building. Apparently it's haunted? Would love to have a gander around there. My cousin got married in the church facing Clifton Hall and it's fascinated me ever since.
  15. I don't put any shoes on the table. I'm overly superstitious I think haha.
  16. I believe where I live is also haunted as well!
  17. Happy a fab day and God bless
  18. I loved how small and cosy it was in there! But they don't show enough variety of films now so I normally end up going to the one in Cornerhouse... Only on a Wednesday though! (Thanks Orange)
  19. Thanks for the link Cliff Ton! And it sure is Babs. Last time I went it was empty. Surprised they can still afford to keep it open!
