A few years ago, there was a cafe (now this combines two threads!!) On the Clifton side of Clifton bridge that had a pylon in the garden. And even then people used to say that, that can't be safe, did they know someat we don't?.

That's the very phone box that I was on about in another thread, shame the photo didn't pan left a bit, i would have had a photo of my grans cafe, also seen up union rd, Andos furniture shop. It was the next 4windows up from the pub, Ando had the house's above the shop and the entrance to them were up the entry at the side of our cafe.

The one I drove had various height suspension, i think it also was capable of having a wheel changed without the use of a jack. Fingertip steering and brakes that would throw you through the windscreen if you as much as sneezed on the brake pedal!! Edit, sorry for the repeat, didn't notice Phil's post, dur!

Why not just take a simplified version of the driving test? Reflexes, awareness and observation ect.
