LizzieM 9,519
I apologise but again this, as you may guess, is not Nottingham ....... it's St Lucia. Worth sharing with you though, I think.

MargieH 7,614
I love Hunstanton - it's our nearest proper seaside town. Fascinated by the stripy cliffs there..
catfan 14,793
Me too Margie, love the place. Only ten miles further than Skeggy, but much nicer. A view from a boat. This one taken in February about five years ago. Mrs Catfan. Hunstanton Lighthouse. We will certainly be going this year.
MargieH 7,614
Hunstanton is only 50 miles or so from us, whereas Skeg is around 90. I like both places - Skeggy because of my own good childhood/teenage memories, and Hunstanton because of more recent memories shared with our own children and grandchildren. BTW I've felt so sad and angry reading of the experiences of some of you at the 'Holiday Home' in Skeg when you were young children - sort of guilty even - as my childhood was very sheltered and I never knew of such places. I hope the rest of your holidays since then have been happier....
banjo48 928
Used to go for the day to Hunstanton to windsurf in the 80's, great place, when the wind didn't cooperate we used to mountain bike all around the area. Many happy memories there.
