And to quote with the same picture that was only 1,2,3,4 up  absolutely shocking DJ hang your head in shame, I suspect you could have been on the sauce?

Maybe when Mick started a nostalgia history site he'd forgot he would attract silver surfers & computer illiterates   Facebook links don't work on here if the reader is not on Facebook, pictures you receive in a email or embedded on your own PC do not work as a link. pictures of your food, dogs, cats, plants, painted watering cans, rocks in a field up jockland are really only interesting to you, that is why Facebook was invented?

Yeh yeh yeh..... :P

The link worked both times I posted it, but seems to time out.  I don't know why and I suspect you don't either.

I don't claim great expertise, but I started using laptops and works intranets 30 years ago.

The Clematis is a seedling which just appeared in an old pot.  It's clearly a 'Montana', but the flowers differ from the other more standard Montana I've had in the garden for yonks.  That one has yet to flower.. so I'm waiting to get a shot of that for comparison. I contacted the Clematis Society or somesuch a few years back and a chap told me that no new seedling 'settles' immediately so flowers can vary for a couple of years until it does.

I have a couple of large flowered Clematis which are also from self sown seedlings. I had their probable parents.  C. 'W.E.Gladstone' and C. 'John Warren' for decades having brought them from our first house in 1976.. but they eventualy died.  Looks like C. 'Carnaby' may be about to go the same way though it's only a few years old.  C. 'Niobe' is still doing well as is another large flowered seedling which was the first I raised around 1996.

I'm not keen on the current trend for breeding lots of Clematis with masses of tiny flowers.  I'm all for the big old hybrids.

The puppy is one my youngest is thinking of buying.  They never learn...

Meanwhile, my older daughter has been recording my Granddaughter's daily choice of 'Lockdown Fashion'.  She's obviously destined for model stardom as she has the 'attitude'. Here are a few of her less extreme choices...

DJ. Non of the photos show. I don't think you are using a hosting app. The flower and puppy showed up on screen and quickly disappeared. I think you are sharing them instead of using an app such as postimage. That's the one I use and is simple to use although sometimes I can muck them up.

Nice pics  Col., she looks a proper little poser. In the first shot, was she pretending to be a live match?

(With the red bonnet on).

She's really funny BK, she has a wicked sense of humour and doesn't mind sending herself up.

Nonna.. I use Flickr for image hosting.  However, for these, I have either saved the F'book image to my phone and uploaded directly to Google Photos, or I have taken the photo with my phone and uploaded to Google Photos.  From there I have used the 'share' function and 'create link'.  Then copied the links and posted here.

I can still see them all.  So can BK.

This time they came up all but the 3rd one. They were very slow to come into focus. The 3rd one flashed blurred and disappeared. Lovely to see them though. She is a poser with bags  of confidence.

Birdsong... It's now 8.40pm and that bloody blackbird and his pal are giving it large and loud. Lovely sound though. Had to turn me telly up a bit.

What time do they normally go to bed?
