Having watched both, superb end to end entertaining play off 1st leg followed by one of the most boring FA Cup finals I’ve ever witnessed, 90 minutes was more than enough, scouses booing the National Anthem, talk about bite the hand that feeds them.

Pity it's gone so Political... Bring back the good old days when Ireland voted for Italy and vice-versa, nobody in Europe except the UK and Ireland had the first clue what popular music was, and the UK and Ireland only knew because of American influence. I suppose if we can have Israel, which is in Africa or Western Asia depending on your prejudices and Azerbaijan, which is in Asia, we can have Australia, which is dominated by European Immigrants. Pity about the Aussie entry though..I thought it was Elton John on Acid. My oldest daughter loves anything 'Kit

We came second. Highest position since the days of Cliff Richard...or something like that. I didn't watch the programme. I knew the UK song was by Sam Ryder but I'd never heard it...so I watched it now on Youtube. It wasn't something I'd buy or listen to again, but I put that down to me being too old. Mr Ryder looked like he was in a metal/rock group, but sings like a castrato. Not my thing.

Agree Red what a boring Cup Final..........largely lost my love of football......but watching todays women's final was how football used to be.............no feigning injurys...no Histrionics of any kind...just good end to end football...not even any spitting Thank-you ladies...plus some great skill...you are rekindling my love of the once great game...........

and sing instead of shouting and screaming and dressing up like pratts.

Margie, it's a pity you didn't have any pictures when you at the fair. Pictures of old cars are always drooled over and discussed. Not to mention doggy pics., they're always a talking point. B.

The other week we had a fabulous couple of nights in Liverpool. It was the first time I’ve spent more than a rushed overnight visit but we’ve already decided we need to go back soon, there’s so much to see and do there, we loved it. Glad she’s enjoyed her trip Ben, it gave your a break too!

Wife back today from her 4 day jaunt in Liverpool........first time she'd been and 'Loved it''..........i've worked a lot in Liverpool and must admit i love the place and its people....... Too many great artists to mention but i have to.......apart from the Fab 'Gerry and the Pacemakers'....and the 'Beatles' there was 'Billy Fury'' and Cilla Black'' plus many more......
