Oztalgian 3,366
Definately a bit lucky, three missed/saved penalties. Sorry but are going to have to do much better against Huddersfield but here is hoping. Professional footballers missing three penalties to some extent shows what is wrong with todays game. Good luck to the Stags in their second leg against Northampton, it is going to be a tough one too.

I don’t know if you were joking but it may well be the case that it was staged somehow. - perhaps a tame one which is fed regularly by the boat people?

Jill Sparrow 10,381
Always bought dad Old Spice for Christmas. He loved it but usually smelled as though he'd bathed in the stuff!
philmayfield 6,232
I used to use Brut but I no longer need to make myself desirable.
Jill Sparrow 10,381
The day started with the three-yearly mammogram! Bad enough but I've had a very painful left shoulder for the last two weeks after, presumably, pulling a muscle gardening. So, I didn't want to hear, "I'm just going to put your arm up here.....!". Arrrrrgggggghhhhhh!
Jill Sparrow 10,381
What's desirable about Brut? Awful stuff. Can't say I'm over keen on any of them but, as always, it depends who's wearing it!
Cliff Ton 10,521
Judging by Ben's experience today, Bulwell seems to be some kind of time-warp where no-one gets older and the past is always there.
philmayfield 6,232
Brut. So that’s where I went wrong!

Thats certainly true cliff ton in my case...........I've lived and lodged all over our pleasant land....but never found anywhere else like it............probably because all my larger family and friends originate there...... It still holds surprises for me in the people i ''Bump into''....and their sense of humour is unique........even most of the old buildings are still there......which cause many lovely memories..of work and play....... Me and my favourite cousin are now the oldest in our bloodline........she still lives in Bulwell..........and over coffee a few weeks ago both said we want to finish up in Bulwell cemetery.......in about 50 years time.........
Beekay 5,229
So what's wrong with Brut ? Its quite a palatable drink with petit fours. Or a cheese and onion roll.
philmayfield 6,232
Do you drink methylated spirits as well?
Beekay 5,229
Don't drink a lot Phil., I spill most of it. Especially when drinking out of camping stoves.
